CLEANING

To clean a crystal chandelier, which has to be done maybe once or twice a year, we recommend following methods:

1. Cleaning with a mixture of warm water, vinegar or dishwasher lotion and a soft cotton tissue (or our cleaning-gloves) in two steps:

Step 1 - wipe of dust with a moist tissue (wet-cleaning)

Step 2 - polish all parts with a dry tissue to achieve highest level of brilliance again

2. Lamps with built-in "easy-maintenance-system"

Unlock the safety-screw and remove the crystal body from the center-part (electrical part). Put the complete crystal body in the bath-tube (place towel below to avoid scratches) and clean everything with warm water, vinegar or dishwasher lotion and wait until all the water has dripped off. If you lamp has a very heavy crystal arrangment we recommend to clean everything directly.

3. Cleaning with Spray

Remove all light-bulbs, cover sockets with small plastic-bags and put a nylon-foil on floor or hang an umbrella upside down on the frame. Make extensive use of the spray (3-4 times), let the cleaning liquid drip off all parts and dry of the last drips with a tissue. For a standard lamp (dia 50 cm) you may need approx. 1 liter. Wait min. 3 hours before switching on the lamp again.
