Mammoth project for the Al-Thani-Family in Doha, Qatar, produced, packed and shipped in record time!
Now the team of DOTZAUER DECORATIVE LIGHTING stops for a moment to breath again. A mammoth project has taken all concentration of our teammembers in the past weeks and days, performing at highest level and upmost organisation skills and all this within the shortest time possible.
Because noone less than the Al-Thani family, ruling dynasty in Doha, Qatar, awarded DOTZAUER DECORATIVE LIGHTING with the production of more then 100 luxury decorative crystal chandeliers for one of their newly built palaces.
As you maybe can imagine the sizes of these chandeliers were not the standards we are using for our appartments, but rather largest masterpieces with an average diameter and height of 2 meters. The centerpiece of this order is a crystal chandelier with more then 5 meters height and a diameter of 3.5 meters, which will light the grand entrance lobby of the villa.
So that the large chandelier will reach their destination safely, custom made wooden crates have been built, in which the chandeliers came in in parts or completely assembled. The largest crate had a size of 230x230x130 cm and weighed more then 500 kg. Totally 21 wooden crates and 11 pallets with carton boxes have been loaded into 4 pcs. 40 feet seafreight containers, which are on the way to the Arab Emirates and further on to Qatar now.
